VISION4FOOD participated at the FOOD2030 Conference

On 3rd December 2025, VISION4FOOD had the opportunity to participate in the FOOD2030 Networks Conference, a three-day event organised by the CLEVERFOOD project that brought together key actors from across Europe to strengthen collaboration and accelerate impact within the FOOD2030 community. The conference took place alongside the official Danish EU Presidency events “Boosting and Mainstreaming the Bioeconomy & Transformative Governance for Food Systems and Biodiversity”. As part of the program, VISION4Food joined a guided tour side-event focused on innovative approaches to transforming urban food systems in Copenhagen and beyond.

During the guided tour, the VISION4FOOD team visited three innovation labs and pioneering initiatives actively reshaping urban food systems. These field visits provided first-hand exposure to cutting-edge food innovations, including alternative proteins, upcycling solutions, and health-driven food developments. They helped the VISION4FOOD team gain concrete, real-world insights that will support the mapping of food system transformation landscapes. The event also served as an important networking opportunity, allowing VISION4FOOD to connect with researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and other food system actors from Copenhagen and across Europe.

VISION4FOOD is a Horizon Europe project dedicated to making European food systems more sustainable, resilient, and inclusive. Through the development of regional Food Innovation Platforms, the project brings together policymakers, businesses, researchers, and civil society to co-create solutions tailored to regional needs. With pilot actions in Poland, Greece, Spain, Italy, and Finland, VISION4FOOD strengthens regional innovation ecosystems, develops tailored acceleration agendas, and advances governance approaches to address food system challenges at both regional and European levels.
