Vision4Food at the ECO-READY Workshop: Building Legacies and Policy Impact

On 28–29 January 2026, VISION4FOOD, represented by White Research, joined the ECO-READY Workshop – Delivering Impact: Building the ECO-READY legacy for Food Systems in Brussels, in synergy with other Horizon Europe projects. The event brought together project partners, Living Labs, and food-systems experts to discuss how research results can be translated into actionable policy recommendations, and how project outputs, such as observatories and tools, can achieve long-term impact.

VISION4FOOD had the opportunity to network with related Horizon Europe projects and explore potential synergies across initiatives working on food system transformation, Living Labs, and policy support. The event allowed the project team to better understand how complementary projects frame policy recommendations, engage stakeholders, and approach sustainability. In addition, VISION4FOOD identified potential areas for cross-project collaboration and knowledge exchange.

VISION4FOOD is a Horizon Europe project that aims to make European food systems more sustainable, resilient, and inclusive. It supports regional actors through Food Innovation Platforms (FIPs) that bring together policymakers, businesses, researchers, and civil society to co-develop solutions tailored to regional needs. Through pilot actions in Poland, Greece, Spain, Italy, and Finland, the project strengthens regional innovation ecosystems, develops tailored acceleration agendas, and enhances governance approaches to tackle food system challenges at both regional and European levels.
