From 17 to 19 June 2026, VISION4FOOD was represented by project partner AgroApps at BEYOND Expo in Athens, one of Southeast Europe’s major events focused on technology and innovation.

The event welcomed startups, researchers, companies, public authorities and investors working across areas such as digital technologies, artificial intelligence, robotics, IoT, sustainability and entrepreneurship.

At the AgroApps booth, visitors could learn more about VISION4FOOD through project materials and discussions with the team. These conversations helped introduce the project to people interested in the future of the agri-food sector and in how data and digital tools can support more sustainable food systems.

The event also gave the VISION4FOOD team the chance to exchange ideas with other projects, researchers and organisations working on similar topics. Discussions focused on shared challenges in the agri-food sector, ongoing initiatives and possible opportunities to work together in the future.

Participation in BEYOND Expo was also relevant to the wider transition of the agri-food sector, where digitalisation and sustainability are becoming increasingly connected.
