VISION4FOOD Featured by Copenhagen Business School in Sustainable Food Transition Research

Copenhagen Business School (CBS) recently featured VISION4FOOD in its booklet “The Role of Business in a Sustainable Food Transition”, which highlights research projects demonstrating how businesses, innovation, and collaboration can contribute to transforming food systems. The booklet brings together applied research initiatives operating at different levels—from local and regional to national—while showcasing their impacts through relevant Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Within VISION4FOOD, CBS leads the task of identifying the challenges and enablers of research and innovation in the food business environment through desktop research and stakeholder interviews at both regional and EU levels. The findings will be published in Deliverable 1.2 on the VISION4FOOD website. These insights will provide an overview of the food system transformation landscape from Open Innovation and Responsible Research and Innovation perspectives, serving as a basis for designing support to help actors adopt sustainable practices.

VISION4FOOD is a Horizon Europe project that aims to make European food systems more sustainable, resilient, and inclusive. It supports regional actors through Food Innovation Platforms that bring together policymakers, businesses, researchers, and civil society to co-develop solutions tailored to regional needs. Through pilot actions in Poland, Greece, Spain, Italy, and Finland, the project strengthens regional innovation ecosystems, develops tailored acceleration agendas, and enhances governance approaches to tackle food system challenges at both regional and European levels.
